Ok, as you can see, I'm a little behind here. F'n west coast series. It's ruining my life.

"u used to be a nite owl." -Kevin

Thanks, Kevin. You ability to strike a nerve is just as pointedly effective as you ability to bring me from here to here with one toothpaste shot. Argh. Yeah, I get it. I'm losing my edge. Trust me, if I had my DRUTHERS, I'd be able to stay up 24 hours a day, and I'd be getting home from work at hours that made this goal a little more feasible.

Eh, whatever I've bitched about the west coast games more than enough, they're almost over. I was kind of excited for my night of taking it easy, eating Butter Lover's popcorn, watching the Yank game, working on my Tyree painting, and listening to Nate's radio interview.

Unfortunately, I missed most of these things, save the 1st half hour of Nate's show, and the first few innings of the Yank game.

I did, I believe, get a few kernels of popcorn in my mouth, though when I woke up at 7am, most of it was on my stomach for some reason.

That's not the worst part.

I don't think I have to tell anyone what the worst part was.

I'm not going to belabor this game, because, well, we're well into the 2nd half of the Sunday game, so let's not dwell on the past here.

Plus, I'm frankly beyond exhausted right now, after just coming back home from a QUADRUPLE HEADER. 4 f'n softball games in a row. My legs feel like someone injected them with playdoh and marbles and I guess lead too, for good measure.

So yeah, the Yanks lose. I know this mainly because I woke up to the Encore, RIGHT WHEN JUSTIN WAS PITCHING WITH BASES LOADED.

What the hell? I don't get this. If my body is gonna act like a little bitch and make me sleep through games and snatch my nite owl reputation from me and replace it with that of a nite parakeet...then at least do me the courtesy of not waking up to this crap. I can't believe that's what I woke up to.

Justin F'n Chamberlain giving up a grand slam.

After Javy pitched a no-no (sort of) into the 6th.

You are SO USELESS, JUSTIN.

And you know who you blame when the children are so bad that it's almost fruitless wasting your breath on them? The parents. The ones who let the kids get away with this shit.

So after a year and a half of seething and hurling every single diatribe in the book at the joke that is Justin, I'm going to have to start on Girardi. And I really, really don't want to do that. But come on. I know there's bullpen problems everywhere, but this is ridiculous.

Here's my final point on this, then I'm moving on to the game at hand: LOOK AT IT THIS WAY... has Justin Chamberlain's quality outtings outweighed his damning ones? Has the good that he's done with his pitching made the bad he's done immaterial?

In other words, IS HE REALLY WORTH IT?

No. 1000 times no. Every day of the week. Twice on Sunday.

And lose some weight, Justin. As if giving up grand slams wasn't bad enough...you know how I feel about unproductive fat people. Not favorably.
