    A little more, so we lost Jeter, now what? I know we have a whole team, but isn't there a saying "that we are only as good as our weakest link?" That being said who is that weak link, and how good or bad does that make us?

    Thanks for the reply and mention in your post. I don't want to be a naysayer or crucify Swisher because I believe that he must have had that play swirling around in his mind all night [probably] didn't even sleep--probably. It still takes the whole team to win, and I didn't particurly like the idea of using Phelps with this game [however cruitial it turns out to be] on the line. With Jeter gone everyone has the opportunity of a life time. You said it beautifully when you said, in closing even if it's over--it's not the end. Baseball isn't going anywhere neither, I am happy to admit, are the Yankees. And let's face it no one [I mean no one] is feeling particularly sorry for the Yankees' loss of Jeter--except the fans and the entire Yankee organization.
